Tim Stutts Emerging Product Design

Microsoft Xbox Extras Windows Phone App

Client: Microsoft, through IconMobile
Provided: interaction design, UI design
Date: 2010

IconMobile reached out to me to help design one of the first Windows Phone 7 apps. The mobile OS, outfitted in 'Metro UI," had a minimal style that really called to me. The simple application I designed allows Xbox users to take the 3D avatar associated with their gamer tag, superimpose it over a photo taken via the camera, locate themselves, and include the composited image with a comment in a social media post. For this effort, I created user-flows, wire frames, and also worked on building a 'Metro UI' Omnigraffle template.
