Google Nexus Q Audio Visualization Prototype
Client: Google, through LeftFieldLabs
Provided: visual effects design, data visualization, prototyping

LeftFieldLabs brought me on to do a design and programming audio-visualization exploration for a microsite surrounding the new Nexus Q device. I worked closely with Eric Lee and CJ Cenizal on this effort. Later I was brought back in to design generative background images for Google Android devices, using some of the visual language established earlier.

Earlier protototype audio visualization in a virtual room space designed and programmed in Three.js.

FFT analysis of accompanying music track used to modulate the size of ellipses surrounding the device; one of several music data visualization approaches that were proposed. This prototype was designed and programmed in OpenFrameworks (C++).

Later Google Adroid mobile device background images designed and programmed in OpenFrameworks (C++).
