Xbox Support Site
Client: Microsoft, through Blitz Agency
Provided: interaction design, user experience design
Date: 2010
I was brought on to work with a team of user experience designers at Blitz Agency for the redesign of the Xbox support site, leading up to the Kinect launch. Kinect was the first depth camera device available to casual consumers, who were mostly gamers, but also software artists. Users could stand in front of the Kinect, move their bodies, and it would perform skeletal tracking, which could be used as input to an interactive experience. I created numerous wire frames and was highly involved in the information architecture for the site, which featured helpful support content for Xbox and Kinect users.
